Deglon is well known for its pioneering spirit, and in 2006, engaged a young designer who was studying at the National School of Visual Arts in Brussels to create an innovative knife design for the famed European Cutlery Design Awards. Mia Schmallenbach and Deglon spent over 150 hours fine tuning this highly visual, yet practical knife block set, entitled "Meeting" which went on to win first prize.

The Deglon Meeting Knife Set comes with a paring knife, carving knife, 15cm utility knife, and a 20cm chef's knife. Made from stainless steel, Meeting has succeeded in combining beauty and practicality.
